M3L Double A Hurler Honored Monday, August 16th, 2027 José Guillén seems to put youthful exuberance into every pitch he throws and last week he threw up numbers that even the oldest of veterans would look at with envy. That's why the 21-year-old hurler was chosen the M3L Double A Player of the Week Award. Guillén notched 2 wins for the Glendale Herons. He finished the week with 19 strikeouts and an ERA of 0.00 while holding the opposition to a .167 average. Thus far this season Guillén has posted a 5-4 record, started 21 games, struck out 145 batters in 137 innings and compiled a 3.35 ERA. |
