Phoenix Hexed: No-Hit by Delgadillo Friday, June 4th, 2027 "This is one of the best moments of my life," Manuel Delgadillo said. "You never think that's going to happen -- a no-hitter." He made those comments after he held the Hotspur Reserves hitless in the Pawnee 9-0 victory at Thunderbirds Stadium. "We simply couldn't get any wood on the ball," said the Phoenix manager, when asked about his epic performance. "Delgadillo was brilliant out there. He certainly had our number." Delgadillo was more humble about his historic feat and told BNN reporters that he was "just happy to get the win for the club." He faced only 29 batters in the no-hit gem, struck out 5 and walked 5.
