Injury Shuts Down Berneu for Season Thursday, July 22nd, 2027 Anselmo Berneu had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the Royse City medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The Royse City catcher suffered a fractured hand in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year. This year Berneu is hitting .320 with 8 home runs and 37 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .409 clip and scored 32 runs. |
