Players Suspended in Targaryens-Great Lakers Donnybrook Tuesday, August 17th, 2027 At a recent Targaryens-Great Lakers contest at Royse City Stadium, Héctor Ruíz of Royse City took exception to what José López of Pure Michigan said to him and tackled him. This led to an old-fashioned bench-clearing free-for-all between the two clubs. After the umpires restored order, they ejected both players. Today the league commissioner's office took action and suspended each player for 6 games, citing them for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct." This season in 54 games, Ruíz has hit at a .318 clip with 42 hits, no home runs, 13 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Currently López has a record of 4-5 with 56 strikeouts and 53 walks in 94.1 innings and a 4.67 ERA. |
