Bad News For Hernández and Las Vegas Friday, September 10th, 2027 Just when it looked like Xavier Hernández would soon return to the Las Vegas Flamingos, the second baseman suffered yet another setback in his recovery from a fractured foot. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when Hernández experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be disabled for at least one week. Thus far this year Hernández is hitting .224 with 9 home runs, 27 RBIs and 40 runs scored. |
