Slade Wins PA Player of Week Award Monday, July 12th, 2027 Youth was served last week as 19-year-old Wayne Slade put together a remarkable stretch on the mound, outpacing all other USPL Single A pitchers and hitters to win Player of the Week honors. The Athletic Club KC U-21 hurler rang up 5 strikeouts in 9 innings, compiling an ERA of 0.00 and posting a fine 1-0 mark. On the season Slade has compiled a 6-2 mark with a 3.19 ERA in 10 starts. In pitching 79 innings he has 50 strikeouts and 25 walks while limiting the opposition to a .258 batting average. |
