Alejándrez Earns PL Rookie Honor Monday, November 1st, 2027 This year's outstanding rookie has been chosen and the honor goes to Boston third baseman Jorge Alejándrez. He received the 2027 Premier League Newcomer of the Year Award for his consistent play and solid numbers. He finished the regular season with a .283 batting average, 17 doubles, 1 triple and 14 home runs. The 20-year-old Alejándrez also had 51 RBIs and scored 26 times. Javier Rivera of the Richardson City Thundercats finished second in voting, while Juan Cantú of the Wizarding Express finished third. |
