Niagara Falls Expos starter Ramón Cerrillo was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Yellowknife Dragonblood, 5-3. Santo Velazco earned the save for Niagara Falls, his 2nd. The Expos saw their record improve to 24-29.
Niagara Falls took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, Diego Méndez hit a 2-run single to make it 5-3, Expos.
"It's a mindset," said Cerrillo. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
