Dragoons Take Tight Tilt
|
The Dragoons had to overcome a good performance from Idaho Falls pitcher Chico Landi to claim a 3-1 win at Idaho Falls Park. Landi went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Won-u Yi earned the win for Louisiana. He lasted 6 innings, allowing no earned runs on 2 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 6-3. Earning his 5th save for Louisiana was Bettino Banditelli.
Louisiana took a 3-0 lead on Domingo Colón's 2nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Colón hit in the top of the eighth, left Idaho Falls pitcher Ron Armstrong shaking his head.
"We found a way to get it done," Colón said.
Louisiana now sits at 29-38, while Idaho Falls falls to 41-26.
