Oaks Stay Hot, Beat Thundercats
|
The Oakland Oaks got a stellar effort from pitcher Ronald Harmon, helped Oakland score a 5-2 win over the visiting Richardson City Thundercats. Their 40-52 record puts the Oaks 9th in the Premier League.
In the bottom of the 3rd, the Oaks grabbed the lead on a two-out double by Micah Coffey. Oakland at the time was trailing 1-0, but Coffey's bases-clearing double off Eduardo Díaz put his team in front.
"I was a little disappointed," said Richardson City manager Imran Kopitar. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
