Braves Bump Off Fog, 9-1

The Gryfindor Braves picked up a win at Cayuse Ballpark, knocking off the Sunset District Fog, 9-1. Starting pitcher Yin-fat Foong played a key role in the triumph. Gryfindor's record now stands at 43-36, placing them second in the Premier AAA.
The Braves beat the Fog in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the single Ignacio Medine produced in the bottom of the fifth. Batting against Sunset District pitcher Merlin Bassett, he gave his team a 2-1 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Sunset District manager Rick Nash, "let me know."
