The Plymouth Rocks did just enough to secure a 6-5 victory over the Milton Dogfish Head at Plymouth Quarry. Nobody did more than pitcher Manny Amici, who captured player of the game honors. Amici went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 2, and struck out 9. His record improves to 11-2. Brian Fixel finished to wrap up his 8th save.

One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the eighth. That's when Miguel Rodríguez hit a 2-run triple. The Rocks went on to win.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Rodríguez, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."

The slumping Dogfish Head have lost 6 straight.
