Multi-HR Game for Robledo in 10-1 Win
|
Milton and Royse City duked it out at Royse City Stadium and the Dogfish Head came out victorious.
The Milton Dogfish Head topped the Royse City Targaryens, 10-1, with Víctor Robledo playing a big role. Robledo went 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice for the Dogfish Head in the win. Jim Unknown earned the win to go to 1-0. He allowed 1 earned run on 5 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts.
An important at-bat for Milton came with one out in the top of the ninth. With the bases loaded, Robledo hit a grand slam, which contributed to the Dogfish Head win.
"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Robledo.
The Milton Dogfish Head, now 11-5, have played some good baseball in the early going.
