The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks scored a 2-1 win versus the Richland Rails at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. Ft. Polk South pitcher César Vásquez nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Ft. Polk South has now won 3 straight, while the Rails have lost 10 in a row.

Peter Agulera was the walk-off hero for Ft. Polk South. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Ft. Polk South third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place sure got loud," said Howard Martínez, the Ft. Polk South manager.
