Thunder Hawks Take Down Deuces, 7-2
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks got a strong performance from pitcher César Vásquez, who stymied the Virginia Beach offense en route to a 7-2 win at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. Ft. Polk South, now 19-17, holds 5th place in the Menard's AA.

In the bottom of the 6th, first baseman Will Huggins gave Ft. Polk South the lead when he hit a bases-clearing triple. The Thunder Hawks had been trailing 2-1, but the two-out triple off Virginia Beach pitcher Shigeko Sakoda changed that -- and Ft. Polk South went on to win.

In postgame remarks, Huggins said: "We put it together today and came out with the win -- that's the main thing."
