84s Knock Off Houston at 84s Field

Benefiting from Yoshihito Saikawa's productive game, the Greenville 84s downed the Houston 1837 BBC, 8-4. Saikawa was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times for the 84s. Greenville reliever Wing-tat Ke picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Edison Larson was saddled with the loss. At 33-20, the 84s are currently third in the Third League.
Francisco Reyes's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth was significant for the 84s. Coming to the plate with runners on 1st and 3rd and Greenville trailing 4-3, the left fielder hit a run-scoring single.
"We've got a great group of guys," Reyes said, "and we're having fun right now."
