Drummers Rally For Late Win Over Disaster
Tortolita withstood an impressive performance by Port Royal catcher Brandon Cooper to defeat the Disaster, 5-4, at Ballpark of Port Royal. Cooper was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Tortolita currently is in 9th place in the Silver AAA at 43-49.

Enrique Marroquín had the most critical at-bat for Tortolita, coming in the top of the ninth inning with two out and a runner on 2nd. Marroquín hit a 1-1 sinker from Omar Casteneda for a 2-run home run. It put Tortolita in front, 5-4.
