Gonzáles Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Wizarding in Walk-Off Win
The Express had to overcome a good performance from Thunder Bay pitcher Rafael Cardona to claim a 3-2 win at Platform 9 3/4. Cardona went 6.2 innings and allowed no earned runs. Wizarding reliever Juan Cantú picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Jake O'Tomalty took the loss. The current losing streak for Thunder Bay has reached 4 games.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 17th. That's when Wizarding second baseman Emílio Gonzáles, facing Mauro Guerra, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Express the 3-2 win.

Gonzáles said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
