Disaster Take Tight Tilt
The Port Royal Disaster eeked out a 4-2 win versus the Pennsauken Flyers at Ballpark of Port Royal. Nobody did more than pitcher Roberto Covas, who captured player of the game honors. Port Royal reliever Bryan Boyd picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Alejandro Arteaga absorbed the loss. Omar Casteneda finished to wrap up his 9th save.

Port Royal took a 3-2 lead on David McJannett's 41st hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which McJannett hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Pennsauken pitcher Alejandro Arteaga shaking his head.

"I just trusted my stuff," said Covas.

Even with the win, the Port Royal Disaster have a dismal 22-42 record.
