Lynx, Ramos Pin Bad Loss on Fighting Dachsunds
|
In a tight contest at Dog Park in Ellenburg, the Calgary Lynx edged the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds by the score of 10-1. The Calgary Lynx's first baseman José Carlos Ramos, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. The Lynx, at 26-15, sit in first place in the Silver AAA.
One important at-bat came with the bases loaded in the top of the first, when Ramos hit a 2-run single. The Lynx went on to win.
"I thought we played a nice game," Ramos told the Calgary Bulletin. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
