The Bloomington Longnecks grabbed a 5-3 win over the Alaskan Humpbacks at Lookouts Ballpark. Bloomington left fielder Chris Payling was 4-4 with 4 singles to earn player of the game honors. George Eisenhauer was the winner. Over 7 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 9 hits, with 4 walks and 1 strikeout. Walt Cooley finished the game for Bloomington and earned his 10th save.
Also doing his part was shortstop Frank Crocker, who stroked a 2-run double in the bottom of the fourth for Bloomington. For the game, Crocker went 1-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
