Great Day for Gómez in Longnecks Win
Adrián Gómez made an impact in the 13-6 Bloomington win over Brinkley. Gómez, who is tied for 3rd in the 3AAA in doubles with 7, was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. With the win over Brinkley, the Longnecks improved to 10-13.

Gómez contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing double, for Bloomington in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-0, Gómez took a fastball from Esteban Gómez and stroked the double to left. His 7th double of the season allowed the Longnecks to leap in front, 3-2.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Gómez told the Bloomington Herald.
