Costello Has Season End Saturday, June 27th, 2026 Carlos Costello has to call it a season. The Salem Misfits starting pitcher learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 06/26/2026 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as shoulder inflammation and stated that he would not be able to play for 5-6 months. The team will likely place Costello on the disabled list today. This year Costello has a 3-3 record and a 4.35 ERA. |
