Third League Names Rookie of Month Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 Scott Janousek earned August's Rookie of the Month honors in the Third League for last month's performance. The boyish Chicago left fielder might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Janousek hit .270 with 3 home runs, 14 RBIs and 9 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. This season Janousek has banged out 76 hits in 333 at-bats for a .228 average with 9 home runs. He is getting on base at a .320 pace and his totals also include 42 RBIs and 36 runs scored. |
