SL Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award Friday, October 30th, 2026 Júlio Rodríguez was a calming influence out of the Austin Rangers bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 24-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Silver League Reliever of the Year Award for 2026. The Cabudare, Venezuela native won the award with 26 saves in 44 relief appearances, 64 strikeouts in 46 innings and a record of 4-3 to go with his 1.57 ERA. Brandeis Vogt of the Toledo Stingers finished second in voting, while Lynwood Matos of the Grafton Middies finished third. |
