Heller Visits Children at Cancer Treatment Center Monday, October 12th, 2026 Retrievers second baseman Bob Heller took time out from his busy schedule today to visit a local children's cancer treatment center. Heller signed autographs and took pictures with many of the young patients. He even gave several of them caps, jerseys, and gloves. "Just seeing the smiles on these kids' faces, knowing what they've gone through, it just warms your heart", said a beaming Heller. When asked who his favorite player was, one little boy smiled broadly and exclaimed, "Bob Heller!" |
