More Woes For Northern Lions BC Norberto Quintana Tuesday, September 29th, 2026 A bit of bad luck has fallen on the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC today as they learned that reliever Norberto Quintana had suffered a setback in his recovery from forearm tendinitis and will miss more time than expected. The team's doctors had been optimistic about the player's return date, but have now rescinded the original date. The initial guess at how much more time he'll miss is one week. For the season Quintana has made 32 relief appearances, recorded 2 saves, compiled a 3-2 won-lost mark and a 4.10 ERA. In pitching 59.1 innings, he has totaled 46 strikeouts and 23 walks. |
