Callison Cracks 5 Hits Monday, September 14th, 2026 All game long Northern Virginia's Brett Callison was rattling the walls at Ballpark of Northern Virginia and banging out base hits against the Toledo Stingers. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Retrievers had a 10-9 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 25-year-old third baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Brett Callison doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th, singled in the 11th and tripled in the 13th. In his stats this season, Callison has posted a batting average of .236 with 91 hits in 385 at-bats, 8 home runs and 48 RBIs. He has also scored 49 runs, walked 57 times and compiled a .340 OBP.
