SA's Best Batter Announced Saturday, August 1st, 2026 At only 21 years of age, Armond Merlin could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the Louisiana Dragoons, as July was one to remember for the shortstop and he has captured the USSL Single A Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .365 with 2 home runs, 14 RBIs and 14 runs scored. Currently Merlin is hitting .298 and has collected 2 home runs, 32 RBIs and scored 25 times, while playing in 57 games. |
