Thunder Bay and Phoenix met at Chase Field in front of a lively crowd.

Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC starter Ramón Molina pitched a strong game against the Phoenix Hotspur at Chase Field, leading the Northern Lions BC to a 6-1 win. Thunder Bay leads the Division II by 4 games.

Late in the game, designated hitter Orlando Miranda had a big at-bat for Thunder Bay. In the top of the eighth, he hit a run-scoring double off Adam Garrison. The play gave the Northern Lions BC a 2-1 lead.

"We've got a great group of guys," Miranda said, "and we're having fun right now."
