Phoenix took the lead in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and the bases loaded, Alex Niemann stroked a 2-run single to make it 4-2, Hotspur Reserves.
"We had the game right there for the taking," said Houston manager Willis Crawford. "But we decided not to take it."
The next game is scheduled for Monday, September 21st, 2026 at Thunderbirds Stadium. Slated to start are Bryan Palmer for the BC and Dylan Guérin for the Hotspur Reserves.
