In the top of the 4th, the Rangers grabbed the lead on a two-out double by Matt Sheppard. Austin at the time was trailing 2-1, but Sheppard's 2-run double off Manny Caraballo put his team in front.

Kramer told a Austin Daily reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
