Isuru Tanaka had a good game, but he could not keep the Walla Walla Walleye from falling, 5-4, to the South Beach Blaze at Walleye Tank. The Walla Walla left fielder went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI in the loss. The 6th-place Blaze now have a 8-game winning streak.

The most important at-bat for South Beach came in the top of the 11th inning, when catcher Martinus Xhaka stroked a 2-2 fastball to center for a run-scoring double, putting South Beach up, 5-4.

"I believe in our guys," said South Beach skipper Justin Trewhells. "I like the energy they're playing with."
