Hong-Do Delivers Walk-Off Win for Walleye
The Walleye grabbed a 3-2 win at Walleye Tank, overcoming a fine effort from Alameda pitcher Merlin Bassett. Bassett went 8.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Luis Domínguez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Alex Ratledge was tagged with the loss. The Walleye raised their record to 19-14.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Walla Walla trailing 2-1, Rim Hong-Do hit a fastball from Alex Ratledge to right for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Walleye had a walk-off win.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Hong-Do said.
