Bluth Lays Hammer Down in 6-1 Win
The South Beach Blaze picked up a win at The Ballpark on the Beach, knocking off the Hogsmeade Cauldrons, 6-1. Starting pitcher Gob Bluth played a key role in the triumph. The Cauldrons fall to 4-8 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2026 season.

Bluth, who was born in Kansas City, Missouri, threw 119 pitches over 8.1 innings, while allowing 1 earned run.

"That's the key at this level, throwing strike one," said Bluth. "Successful pitchers do it."
