A 4-RBI performance from Guillermo Mata, who is tied for 7th in the SA in home runs with 4, helped the Grim Reapers beat the Niagara Falls Expos, 8-6. Grim reliever Ralph Henderson picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Sergio Zamora was saddled with the loss. Quinton Richards nailed down his 9th save.

Mata came through with some timely hitting for Grim. With the score 3-2 in the bottom of the third and one down, Mata hit a 1-0 slider for a grand slam home run. It was his 4th home run of the season -- and a big reason the Reapers managed to win.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Mata told the Grim News.

The Reapers, now 32-23, have won 5 in a row.
