The Louisiana Dragoons defeated the Niagara Falls Expos, 5-4, at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. Louisiana catcher José Ortíz was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 4-4 with 4 singles. Paul Addison, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 7 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 4-1.
