Syracuse rode a fine outing from starter António Muńóz to victory over the Chicago Tula at Storm Park. The final score was 7-2. The Storm now have a record of 19-29 with the win over Chicago.

Ricardo Ríos's at-bat in the bottom of the second was significant, coming with the bases loaded and the game tied, 0-0. The Syracuse designated hitter hit a 2-run single off Juan Valdéz to put the Storm up.
