Lara, Phoenix Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Phoenix Hotspur U-21 and the Kennesaw Jets, pitcher Ismael Lara was excellent. The Phoenix left-hander was named the player of the game in Phoenix's 1-0 win. Richard Osborn was credited with the save for Phoenix, his 2nd of the season. The Phoenix Hotspur U-21, now 6-12, have not found much traction so far in 2026.
Lara gave Phoenix a solid start. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.
