Tula Continue Hot Start to Season with Win
Steve Koch did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Put-In-Bay BC from losing, 7-5, to the Chicago Tula at Ramblers Ballpark. Koch went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Howard Vidaurri was credited with the save for Chicago, his 1st of the season. The Chicago Tula, now 5-2, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Chicago took the lead in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, Marcos Alfaro stroked a bases-clearing triple to make it 7-4, Tula.

Alfaro told a local reporter: "My job is to go out and play as hard as I can."
