"What a day!" he said. "We win and I get 5 hits! Couldn't be better!"

"He was patient up there today," the Bellevue skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Stallings has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."
