Paulsen Delivers Walk-Off Win for Screaming Eagles
There was never a dull moment in this extra-length game between the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles and the Minnesota Loons.

Raúl Pérez helped Mercer Island edge Minnesota by the score of 3-2. Mercer Island reliever Riley Herrick got the win, raising his record to 4-3. José Marroquín was tagged with the loss.

Robert Paulsen had the critical at-bat for Mercer Island. With two out in the bottom of the tenth inning, he hit a walk-off run-scoring single. It gave Mercer Island the 3-2 walk-off win.

"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Jared Gilbert.

The Screaming Eagles, at 47-37, lead by one game in their division.
