Northville Eclipse starter Oliver De Jesús was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Asheville Highlanders, 10-2. Northville has now won 3 straight, while the Highlanders have lost 3 in a row.

The Northville triumph was a team effort. It included several important contributors, Luis Guerrero not least among them. In the bottom of the second, the Northville third baseman came to bat and hit a 2-run triple. It staked his team to a 2-0 lead.
