The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles downed the Minnesota Loons, 10-7, in 10 innings. Jorge Pérez led the way, going 2-for-2 for Mercer Island. Earning his 2nd save for Mercer Island was Jesús López. Mercer Island leads the Premier AA by 3½ games.

Dimian Menres's hit in the top of the tenth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a forkball from Jeff Thames for a 3-run home run. It put Mercer Island in front, 10-7.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Mercer Island Screaming Eagles manager Jared Gilbert. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
