Namajunas, Lynx Too Much for Rocks

The Calgary Lynx turned back the Plymouth Rocks, 8-1, at Lynx Stadium. Logan Namajunas was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. With the win, Calgary has a record of 28-37. Plymouth falls to 28-37.
When the Lynx needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Namajunas who delivered. Facing Plymouth pitcher Ryan McCall the bottom of the sixth with the bases loaded, Namajunas hit his 5th home run of the year. It made the score 7-1.
"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Henry Henderson.
