Sánchez goes 3-for-5 as Fog Squeeze Past Milton
The Sunset District Fog knocked off the Milton Dogfish Head, 12-8, at Milton Corner Tavern. Albert Sánchez, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Sunset District won. The first baseman went 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. Dave Morse got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 5 runs on 9 hits in 6.1 innings. Cisco Flores earned the save, his 4th, for the Fog.

Sunset District designated hitter Pedro Tapia helped the Fog go up, 5-3, in the top of the fifth inning. With the game tied, Tapia hit a 2-run triple off Milton pitcher Robinson Suárez.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Rick Nash.

The 6th-place Fog raised their record to 22-21.
