Rocks Win in Glorious Fashion
|
The Rocks had to overcome a fine effort from Bakersfield pitcher Cameron Frye to grab a 4-3 win at Plymouth Quarry. Frye went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The Rocks raised their record to 12-9.
Ken Fulton was the walk-off hero for Plymouth. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Plymouth catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Fulton said.
