Dogfish Head Topple Fog with Late Rally
The Milton Dogfish Head scored a 5-3 win versus the Sunset District Fog at Fog Park. Milton pitcher Juan Lara nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Lara went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 2-4. Jim Unknown recorded the save for Milton, his 1st of the season.

The game was at a stalemate until pinch hitter Brad Perry came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Sunset District pitcher Cisco Flores, he hit a first pitch sinker for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Milton on top, 4-3.

"Both teams played hard," said Milton manager Wes Murray.

The Milton Dogfish Head are off to a sluggish start, getting just their 6th win in 19 games.
