Delaware beat Grand Forks at The Cocoon, escaping with a 8-4 win. The win in large part was due to third baseman Alejandro Sánchez, who earned player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. With the win, Delaware elevates its record to 6-1.

Early in the game, Sánchez had a 2-run double for Delaware. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the 1787 BC on top, 2-0.
