The Glendale Herons stopped the Richland Rails, 8-3, at Heron Field. The Herons got a big game from Cristián Lima, who was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Salvador Torres earned the win to go to 2-4. He allowed 3 earned runs on 7 hits, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts. The 6th-place Herons have won 7 in a row.
With Glendale trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Lima hit a fastball from Carlos Barajas for a run-scoring double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Herons ahead, 2-1.
